The Mission Possible Campaign is the synod-wide capital campaign to secure the future of our outdoor ministries at Luther Springs and Lutherock. In its final year of a three-year effort, Mission Possible’s $3 million goal will expand the facilities at Luther Springs, near Hawthorne, FL and secure much-needed land at Lutherock, near Newland, NC. In this issue of the campaign newsletter, Mission Possible celebrates God’s faithfulness and generosity demonstrated through the prayers and financial support provided by the many individuals and congregations who have supported this vision for outdoor ministry. Included in these celebrations is the gift given by the sale of the property of Atonement Lutheran, Orlando to name the new Chapel and Conference Room to be constructed in the Challenge Phase at Luther Springs, the special gifts given to name the entrance to Lutherock in honor of Pr. Frank and Martina Wagner, and the generous challenge to his fellow Luther Springs staff alumni from a rostered minister who speaks to God’s power present in this outdoor ministry. Included in this newsletter is also an update on the generous response of individuals and congregations in the Florida-Bahamas Synod who have contributed to the Mission Possible Campaign.
Take a minute to read this newsletter, and celebrate God’s faithfulness and generosity through so many lives that have been touched by outdoor ministry!
