Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Spring Hill, Florida


Seeking a CONTEMPORARY MUSIC LEADER (part time)

Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Spring Hill, Florida is seeking a part time (10 hours per week) Contemporary Music leader for the 9am Contemporary worship service.

Responsibilities include worship planning with the pastor, playing the piano/keyboard, recruiting volunteer instrumentalists and singers for the praise band and conducting weekly rehearsals.  Interested persons should contact the church at 352 683-9016.

Zion Lutheran Church, Groveland, Florida


Seeking an ORGANIST/CHOIR DIRECTOR

The position of organist at Zion will entail playing organ/piano at our weekly service on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am.  We would wish that all applicants be familiar with the Lutheran liturgy and hymnody.  It is desired that the organist will gather with our small choir at 10:30 am prior to worship to rehearse any special music or anthems-but that expectation is at the applicant’s discretion.  Weekly remuneration would be $125 which could be raised to $150 depending on ability and qualifications. Vacation time will be negotiable. The applicant would be welcome to play at any weddings or funerals and any special liturgical events especially during Holy Week.
