PJ May, Chair of the FB Synod Global Mission Committee reports that there will be a “Fund Raising Race” at the Synod Assembly in June in Daytona Beach. “We have three very different – and worthwhile – companion church projects in need of funding, and we thought this would be a fun, creative way for clergy, voting members, guests, and congregations to get involved. They can support one, two, or all three projects.
We will accept cash or checks – and pledges (due by August 1st). The first project to reach $5000 in donations/pledges will receive an additional $500 donation from an anonymous donor.”

IECLC – CUBA | This is a 3 year project that needs a total of $15,000 – $5000 for each year. The farmland has been given to the church and they have the workers ready to go! Help us with money to pay for seed, fertilizer, planting, farm implements, education, etc. |

ELKS – SURINAM | Danielle Dokmann from Surinam will be ordained at the LWF Conference in Surinam in August. This monetary gift will help her with seminary bills and give her a good start on her first call! |
| Vehicle Fund

ELH – HAITI | The vehicles owned by the ELH are constantly in need of tires, transmissions, and other repairs. This fund will help them to keep safe vehicles on the road for visiting mission trip work groups. |
